UNIVERSITY PORTFOLIO

Master of Architecture Leeds Beckett University (Part-Time, 4 Years)

The below provides a snapshot into my design studio projects at Leeds Beckett University. Spanning across MArch 1 & 2 I have utilised Autodesk Revit, Lumion, Adobe Photoshop, 3D Model Making and Projection to both develop design strategies and to represent my final proposal.

My MArch 1 design project was based at Manchester's Mayfield Depot. It aimed to interrogated the proposed SDP, which is currently being developed, and provided a theoretical alternative. My resultant design was shortlisted for the AJs Student awards for sustainability in 2019.

During his MArch 2 studies my project was located in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I continued to explore means of sustainable architecture, this time by exploring the integration of nature within my proposal. Developing prototypes for a new architecture textile, exploring materiality within façade design to allow organic matter to naturally occupy elevations and by exploring a structural strategy which utilised native plant species to create an architectural typology. This work is still being undertaken and is anticipated to be concluded by July 2022.
